Art Available - Gallery 1

Hope by Ron Warford, 40' x 30 " Graphite on Black Board, Framed
Mr. Warford's work was selected by the Smithsonian Institution for a national traveling exhibition in 1973. He was one of the initial founding and teaching members at the Folk Art Gallery in Syracuse. His work spings from his imagination and is masterfully executed. Tel (315) 391-5115 for more info or to purchase. One of the presidents of a local art guild referred to Ron's work as  "master works" for their power and quality.

Strength , by Ron Warford. 20 " X 30"

Home is Where the Hearth Is by Jaws. This piece took 600 hours. Amazingly, to produce this the artist had to put the snowflakes  in first on a white fine piece of paper and then build everything around it. Think about it - this amazing work, and other pieces of the artists work can be seen at CNY Artists Gallery, which purchased this piece in 2013.

Dream Horse by M. Smart

Hi! I wonder if Artists Trading Cards are the same as AECOs. I made a few ACEOs for fun, a couple original s and a couple of "prints" which are actually just photos of my originals.

I sold 1 (1!) from my shop on Etsy but am hoping to sell more. I have a couple of questions and wonder about the right way to make them. If they are little photo-prints (from digital photos) on nice Somerset Velvet paper, let's say,do they have to be on some sort of heavier backing?

Do they have to be varnished or spray-fixatived or something? Where do you buy the little clear plastic envelopes (sleeves) for them.?

Thank you !!

Patty - the only difference in ATC's and AECOs is that ATCs aren't sold only traded. I always back mine with a heavy cardstock and even foam board sometimes. You can also purchase a ton of different types of ATC blanks including canvas online. As for the envelopes, I found a templete online somewhere that allows you to print your own, I will try to locate it and send the link. You can aso use those 4x5 ziplock type bags they sell at the craft stores. They don't have to be varnished.

Hi Deborah~~~Thank you for your response about ACEOs.  Today in A.C. Moore (love that store) I saw many ATC blanks of canvas, illustration board, paper & more and little envelopes to match. For $2.50 a package i think there are 8 ? to a package . (The envelopes are seperate) I might try some miniature acrylic paintings.....
