Art Available - Gallery 1

Hope by Ron Warford, 40' x 30 " Graphite on Black Board, Framed
Mr. Warford's work was selected by the Smithsonian Institution for a national traveling exhibition in 1973. He was one of the initial founding and teaching members at the Folk Art Gallery in Syracuse. His work spings from his imagination and is masterfully executed. Tel (315) 391-5115 for more info or to purchase. One of the presidents of a local art guild referred to Ron's work as  "master works" for their power and quality.

Strength , by Ron Warford. 20 " X 30"

Home is Where the Hearth Is by Jaws. This piece took 600 hours. Amazingly, to produce this the artist had to put the snowflakes  in first on a white fine piece of paper and then build everything around it. Think about it - this amazing work, and other pieces of the artists work can be seen at CNY Artists Gallery, which purchased this piece in 2013.

Leisure time at Letchworth

Dave and I just returned from Letchworth State Park. We brought our camper there so we could attend the Air show in Geneseo on Saturday. Our daughter Lisa was home with our three dogs so we were foot loose and fancy free for the weekend. I always bring a tool box and jewelry projects to work on. I made two viking knit necklaces over the weekend. They are a perfect project, all that is required is a roll of wire and a stick! It is great therapy and I find myself taking it everywhere. I always…

Back to work

It was a wild weekend. It started with a party at our house Friday for my granddaughter, who turned 26. It was a fabulous day and a blast for everyone. We went all weekend long having a great time and yet I figured out a way to take my jewelry on the road! I worked on both viking knit and chain mail necklaces, so I didn't feel too guilty!

Today is our 20th wedding anniversary. Hard for me to believe for me. That means we have been together for 27 years! I held him off 7…

Ceramics crunch on

Hello everyone. I am just now recouping from a busy several weeks of art shows. The art in the park show last Saturday was wet! However, even though there were few people who ventured out, I did very well. I am seeing sales in my high end jewelry this year and I am very pleased about that.

I started a new adventure in ceramics at OCC. I am in my second class this summer and have fallen in love with playing in the mud. This week is the last week to finish pieces and I was there all day…

Art on the Porches

What a great weekend I had!  Art on the Porches was a fabulous time.  I did really well with selling my jewelry and my booth actual made a cameo in the Post Standard!  The weather was absolutely perfect and there were so many great designers.  I actually ended up buying a couple things myself!  Hopefully this weekend is even better!  I will be in Marcellus, stay tuned for more details about that later in the week.  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a great Father's Day, I know I did!

Keuka Arts Festival Award

How could I forget to tell you all of my recent achievement! I tied for third place best in show over 80 plus other fine artists and craftsman last weekend! It was a thrill for me as the show was jurried and the level of talent was amazing. There  were metal workers, ceramists, wood workers, both carving and turning, oil paintings, fiber, watercolors, and more. I was especially taken with the man who I tied third place with. He hand carved wood, which he then transferred to paper for prints.…

Art on the Porches

THIS weekend is Art on the Porches which is held by the Greater Strathmore Neighborhood Association.  This show is very unique because the artists are on porches rather than in an open area!  Art on the Porches is an art show, sale and celebration of the historic Strathmore neighborhood featuring local artists, such as myself, who design and create original works of art.  We will be displaying and selling our work from the spacious porches and lawns of the beautiful homes along Ruskin Ave.  It… Continue

Exciting Weekend coming up

I am setting up my booth for the first rime at the Westcott Art Trail. In fact, last year was the first year I ever knew about it. I went with a girlfriend and had the best time. I was astounded at the level of local artist in our city. I spent plenty of money.( of course it wasn't bill money ) I decided last year that I would take part this year.

Then I see there is the Funky Flea Market going on Sat. on Wyoming

St. I had the opportunity to set up there as well. I wish I could…

Cynthia Cameron Design

I started Cynthia Cameron Design about a year ago. I am Financial planner who has always had a love for jewelry and artwork. I have always wanted to learn jewelry making and for a brief time in the 70's I made beaded jewelry. It was not meant to be for me at that time, for a variety of reasons.

In 1996 I became interested in painting glass when we boated on Cayuga Lake near McKenzie-Childs. Glass is a Glass Originals was born. I was very successful producing very beautiful and funky… Continue
