Art Available - Gallery 1

Hope by Ron Warford, 40' x 30 " Graphite on Black Board, Framed
Mr. Warford's work was selected by the Smithsonian Institution for a national traveling exhibition in 1973. He was one of the initial founding and teaching members at the Folk Art Gallery in Syracuse. His work spings from his imagination and is masterfully executed. Tel (315) 391-5115 for more info or to purchase. One of the presidents of a local art guild referred to Ron's work as  "master works" for their power and quality.

Strength , by Ron Warford. 20 " X 30"

Home is Where the Hearth Is by Jaws. This piece took 600 hours. Amazingly, to produce this the artist had to put the snowflakes  in first on a white fine piece of paper and then build everything around it. Think about it - this amazing work, and other pieces of the artists work can be seen at CNY Artists Gallery, which purchased this piece in 2013.

Integrating the Faerie Realm into my Human Life

"Faeries!" I shouted. "Come help me tell these people how I integrate you into my life!" Leprechaun Floyd was the first to arrive. I recognized him by the thin leather suspenders holding up the worn jeans covering his skinny legs and his straggly brown beard. "Floyd, you know I love living my life in partnership with the Faerie Realm. How can we best describe that experience for my new readers?"

Floyd scratched his beard and his clear blue eyes sparkled. "You could describe a typical day," he suggested. I nodded.

"I rise in the morning before sunrise because I love being present when the sun rises, to watch the light dapple the trees and the earth and see the dew reflect the light through its droplets." We both smiled as we imagined the faerie lights streaming to earth from the sun, shining through the dew, and waking up every leaf and creature as the devas watch lovingly over their ascribed territories.

"Before any screen time, I do my stretching to welcome the day."  Floyd said I needed to demonstrate this, so he posed as my yoga teacher and supervised as I carefully moved my body through a Sun Salutation. He smiled as I struggled to discipline my wobbly limbs into the correct postures. "Oh, Floyd, I dare say this body is getting old," I groan, and Floyd stalwartly says, "Never."

"I check my laptop to see what conversations I feel called to continue or pursue. There are 4" light faeries all around my laptop and peering past my elbows to watch me typing.

"Floyd, I need to mention unexpected incursions of faerie energy, like when I'm driving somewhere and I suddenly feel the reddish brown earth below me 'bubbling' beneath the surface. I catch my breath as I open my awareness to faerie joy. Their message for me in this instant is to 'allow' what seems 'solid' to be fluid enough for new possibility to move through it. I am grateful for this reminder.

"In general, I spend my days looking for ways I can add 'soul' to the available spaces I come across. Sometimes it's by listening to someone's stories and being present to their heart. Sometimes it's by bringing food to a potluck. Sometimes it's by adding flowers to a garden bed. Sometimes it's by adding a blessing to my online Facebook or other pages/sites." Floyd was nodding his head.

"By the end of the day, my muscles are aching and I enjoy the peace of resting on my carpeted apartment floor. The faeries which have extended their adventures by accompanying me curl up next to me and rest their heads, too." Floyd smiled as I read him this last sentence. He could imagine it in his mind's eye.

Floyd's clear blue eyes looked up at me. Fully present, he nodded. "Well done, Zing. Let's post this story!"
