Art Available - Gallery 1

Hope by Ron Warford, 40' x 30 " Graphite on Black Board, Framed
Mr. Warford's work was selected by the Smithsonian Institution for a national traveling exhibition in 1973. He was one of the initial founding and teaching members at the Folk Art Gallery in Syracuse. His work spings from his imagination and is masterfully executed. Tel (315) 391-5115 for more info or to purchase. One of the presidents of a local art guild referred to Ron's work as  "master works" for their power and quality.

Strength , by Ron Warford. 20 " X 30"

Home is Where the Hearth Is by Jaws. This piece took 600 hours. Amazingly, to produce this the artist had to put the snowflakes  in first on a white fine piece of paper and then build everything around it. Think about it - this amazing work, and other pieces of the artists work can be seen at CNY Artists Gallery, which purchased this piece in 2013.

Dream Horse by M. Smart

I have to admit I've had the best time helping set up the Shoppingtown Mall store. Between becoming organizing queen (I really don't know where it comes from. If you saw my desk at home you'd be surprised!)  Oh! RIGHT! If you are an artist who has their work in the store for sale could you please email me an artists statement with either a photo or photo of one of your favorite works plus contact info that customers can reach you at (email address!) and if you have a website, the address for that? I'm trying to set up a way for us when someone purchases your work, or asks about more info on you or it, we had little "flyers" to give to people. I'm going to try and make them uniform in look so it's easy to make more of.  My email is ekchainmail@gmail.com :) PLEASE SEND ME STUFF

Anyways. I spent most of last night at the store. I'm really having fun. I like helping organize and set up a store. I don't know. I suppose it's why I helped set up the Kohl's in Fayetteville when they opened. It was so much fun figuring out how to best display items and sort them out. Not only that but I have some of my work displayed to sell. Spring is a time for change and new things, and this is so totally awesomely new! I can't wait to volunteer more hours at the store and help it grow!

As for today, seeing how it's for once 60 out, we've been digging up the garden and the ground for the back patio. We're putting in a paver's stone tiled patio. 15 feet "deep" and 26 feet long. Give or take as we have to curve around a tree. We're doing multiple things on it - grill, seating, mats for training & a hanging heavy bag. It should be AWESOME when it's done. I'm excited. We had to come in though, because we found a spring outside the back door (in the right hand side of the patio) so we need to go buy drainage pipes. It's a fresh water, icy cold, crystal clear spring. Too bad our wells out front with part of said spring already! Oh and you know, it's literally RIGHT out the back door. Hello mini-sink hole!

I can't wait for spring to be warmer!
