Art Available - Gallery 1

Hope by Ron Warford, 40' x 30 " Graphite on Black Board, Framed
Mr. Warford's work was selected by the Smithsonian Institution for a national traveling exhibition in 1973. He was one of the initial founding and teaching members at the Folk Art Gallery in Syracuse. His work spings from his imagination and is masterfully executed. Tel (315) 391-5115 for more info or to purchase. One of the presidents of a local art guild referred to Ron's work as  "master works" for their power and quality.

Strength , by Ron Warford. 20 " X 30"

Home is Where the Hearth Is by Jaws. This piece took 600 hours. Amazingly, to produce this the artist had to put the snowflakes  in first on a white fine piece of paper and then build everything around it. Think about it - this amazing work, and other pieces of the artists work can be seen at CNY Artists Gallery, which purchased this piece in 2013.

Dream Horse by M. Smart

Hi all..Seeing that the semester of teaching at SU in The Warehouse is completed....I moved on to private workshops...They are being held at The Art Store on Erie Blvd in Syracuse...The first was was this past Sat. Basic Screen printing on fabrics...very fun , very easy...My students...all adults, did a great job and fun was had by all..They went home with a head full of new creative ideas that they never dreamed they could have and a new skill that will open a lot of fun creative time for them... Knowing that they can now print their own fabrics for home decor, garments, etc.etc is a very exciting...and all can be done at home on their kitchen table is needed....Unfortunately I forgot my camera and do not have pics to share...

Next workshop is Sat June 4th..Shibori Dyeing,,,the ancient art of folding, manipulating and dyeing of fabrics to create interesting patterns on fabrics...I have one space left for that one...Call the Art Store if you'd like to learn  474-1000...see photos in my  album

I will continue to offer more fabric workshops and screen printing on paper...

I hope everyones creative world is going as well as mine...
