Hope by Ron Warford, 40' x 30 " Graphite on Black Board, Framed
Mr. Warford's work was selected by the Smithsonian Institution for a national traveling exhibition in 1973. He was one of the initial founding and teaching members at the Folk Art Gallery in Syracuse. His work spings from his imagination and is masterfully executed. Tel (315) 391-5115 for more info or to purchase. One of the presidents of a local art guild referred to Ron's work as "master works" for their power and quality.
Strength , by Ron Warford. 20 " X 30"
Home is Where the Hearth Is by Jaws. This piece took 600 hours. Amazingly, to produce this the artist had to put the snowflakes in first on a white fine piece of paper and then build everything around it. Think about it - this amazing work, and other pieces of the artists work can be seen at CNY Artists Gallery, which purchased this piece in 2013.
After months of tweaking and learning, I have finally launched my website - Judith Hand Watermedia
My motivation was my 50th (gasp!) college reunion last weekend. I wanted to be able to hand out cards, so I could possibly get hits from all over the country - we'll see...
The other site was a real quickie - Art Mart
It took me two (long) days to…

Senior portrait sessions are in full swing. I am in the final month before yearbook picks need to be delivered. That’s if I can get the girls to choose which one they like best. Boys, well they are just a different species, it’s “sure that ones fine”.
So life finds me very busy photographing young adults and trying to capture their personalities using a digital format. When you don’t find me beh…

I am on "vacation" at Lake George, and have finally found time to paint. I brought two blank surfaces to apint on [wood, not canvas] and have worked vigorously on my jellyfish that has captured a mermaid. THe idea occured to me before embarking, and I did some internet research to get some jellyfish intel. I found some pictures of brilliant yellow orange glowing orbs, with whitish fluff underneath, which seemed to be a neat thing to paint. I looked at some other people's interpretation pf…

Dave and I just returned from Letchworth State Park. We brought our camper there so we could attend the Air show in Geneseo on Saturday. Our daughter Lisa was home with our three dogs so we were foot loose and fancy free for the weekend. I always bring a tool box and jewelry projects to work on. I made two viking knit necklaces over the weekend. They are a perfect project, all that is required is a roll of wire and a stick! It is great therapy and I find myself taking it everywhere. I always…

"Masters Of War" was based on the Bush-Cheney administration but can relate to any one in power with a God complex.
Are they really the ones in control or is there a higher darker source playing puppet master.

It was a wild weekend. It started with a party at our house Friday for my granddaughter, who turned 26. It was a fabulous day and a blast for everyone. We went all weekend long having a great time and yet I figured out a way to take my jewelry on the road! I worked on both viking knit and chain mail necklaces, so I didn't feel too guilty!
Today is our 20th wedding anniversary. Hard for me to believe for me. That means we have been together for 27 years! I held him off 7…

Hello everyone. I am just now recouping from a busy several weeks of art shows. The art in the park show last Saturday was wet! However, even though there were few people who ventured out, I did very well. I am seeing sales in my high end jewelry this year and I am very pleased about that.
I started a new adventure in ceramics at OCC. I am in my second class this summer and have fallen in love with playing in the mud. This week is the last week to finish pieces and I was there all day…
