Art Available - Gallery 1

Hope by Ron Warford, 40' x 30 " Graphite on Black Board, Framed
Mr. Warford's work was selected by the Smithsonian Institution for a national traveling exhibition in 1973. He was one of the initial founding and teaching members at the Folk Art Gallery in Syracuse. His work spings from his imagination and is masterfully executed. Tel (315) 391-5115 for more info or to purchase. One of the presidents of a local art guild referred to Ron's work as  "master works" for their power and quality.

Strength , by Ron Warford. 20 " X 30"

Home is Where the Hearth Is by Jaws. This piece took 600 hours. Amazingly, to produce this the artist had to put the snowflakes  in first on a white fine piece of paper and then build everything around it. Think about it - this amazing work, and other pieces of the artists work can be seen at CNY Artists Gallery, which purchased this piece in 2013.

Artistic Work:  Prints & Greeting Cards

My goal as an artist is to give the viewer an intimate portrait into life, amplifying details, there by drawing the viewer to observe what many may pass by, yet fail to notice. I strive to capture inner beauty and natural textures, showing the unending changes in life and the beauty of our surroundings.
Nature’s Palette Photography Art is a statement to my artistic endeavor. Without nature’s ever changing palette and each person’s individual character my art would not exist; hence the name of my studio.

Hi,

Read about your trip - you are lucky.

The audio clip  was not there.

By the way could you put in a few hours helping in the Gallery?

Hi, was not able to load photos to your comment wall, don't know why??

A Friend brought some Mahogany wood and wants me to turn some bowls for him. I cut the first bowl Monday and thought Mahogany is a popular boat wood and as you are on/near water, Mahogany might be interesting wood for your bracelet, so I took some of the scrap and made my first Mahogany bracelet?? 1st bowl i put on my page with latest 3 bracelets, sizes are hand wrote in photo. All were targeted for 2.5 inch, but only the one made it :>(, the way the wood cleans up sometimes dictates the size. If you like it (or another if like a loose one) let me know and I can send it.  Otherwise, I have another person that wants 2 smaller than 2.5 inches, very possible, when making them, one will go oversize and end up with another 2.5. If you want to waite, I might have 2 or more 2.5 inch, that you can select from.

Here is how things normally work when I give one thing away - Story of WHY am I making more bracelets - I made u a free bracelet, hung it in my shop to dry. Guy comes to look at a motorcycle I had for sale. His daughter is with him and see your bracelet. He wants to buy 2 bracelets (another daughter at home). I said that I only had these (which were too large). He made me a couple cash offers, to make more bracelets. So, I said "If I sold bike soon< might free up some time to make more bracelets. Buys Bike for my asking price +  what he had offered me for 2 bracelets  -

Thanks Ellen
